At Mission Central, we believe access to medical equipment should never depend on someones ability to pay.
Through our Medical Equipment Program, we provide gently used and new medical equipment and supplies – free of charge – to individuals, families, clinics, and partner organizations regardless of income or insurance status.
Last year alone, Mission Central distributed more than $2.3 million in medical equipment and supplies.
Our inventory changes daily though regularly includes:
- Wheelchairs (manual and electric)
- Walkers and Rollators
- Hospital Beds
- Hoyer Lifts
- Shower Chairs
- CPAP Machines
- Hygiene Supplies (Adult Briefs, Pads, and Wipes)
- Gloves, Syringes, Tubing, and More
Every donated item is carefully evaluated, cleaned, and prepared for redistribution to ensure safety, functionality, and dignity in care.
Medical equipment pick-ups are coordinated by appointment on select days.
We also gratefully accept donations of gently used medical equipment Monday through Friday from 9am to 3pm at our Orange Donation Door.
This program has grown rapidly in recent years as more families struggle with the cost and accessibility of medical care and equipment.
What may seem like a simple walker, wheelchair, or shower chair can mean independence, recovery, safety, and relief for someone facing illness, injury, disability, or financial hardship.
In addition to serving individuals and families, Mission Central also provides resources to free and low-cost clinics, disaster response efforts, schools, hospitals, and even frontline organizations during times of crisis, including throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.
