Disaster Response
Mission Central’s core goals are mission education, mission outreach and disaster response.
We partner with UMCOR on some of our disaster relief. Mission Central is a cooperating warehouse within the UMCOR (United Methodist Committee on Relief) Disaster Relief Network. Mission Central is the largest of six warehouses.
Here, we receive, store, make, verify and disburse Flood/Cleaning Buckets, School Kits and Hygiene Kits once a Domestic Relief Form has been approved.
UMCOR stopped their international distribution of relief supplies in 2017. Mission Central has continued to support those internationally through varying partnerships.
Mission Central is not funded or supported in any way by UMCOR.
