Rev. Bob Ryder
Rev. Bob Ryder serves the Susquehanna Annual Conference as an ordained elder. He has been a member of the Mission Central board of directors since 2011. Before that time, Bob serves as a volunteer at Mission Central and he has also been active at several Hub sites. Before beginning pastoral ministry, Bob spent 23 years in business and IT consulting to the fortune 1000.

I joined the Mission Central Board for the opportunity and challenge to utilize whatever gifts I have that might help others in need and spread the love of our Lord. I recently retired from the position of President at Giant Food Stores, known for its many philanthropic efforts throughout our area, and as a big sponsor of Mission Central. Family: Happily married to Patti (from Lancaster) for 30 Years. 4 Children… Christina (24) Matt (22) Elisabeth (21) Josh(17) Career Overview: Giant Food Stores President (2009-2014) responsible for $7 billion in sales, operating 200 supermarkets, employing 33,000 associates across Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia and West Virginia. Chief Financial Officer (2003-2009) Responsible for all financial operations, including governance, acquisitions, accounting and reporting. Certified Public Accountant (Pennsylvania) Masters in Business Administration-Finance (FairleighDickinson Univ). Education: *Albright College- Accounting *Fairleigh Dickinson University- MBA/Finance. Mrs. Jean Norris
Jean is a native Pennsylvanian with a BSN from the University of Delaware. She is a retired nurse spending most of her career in maternal and child health nursing and as a childbirth educator. She is married to David and has 2 children, Brenda, a music therapist and Mark, a professor of ecology at Stevenson University. She is the proud grandmother of Mae and Sofia. Since Hurricane Katrina she has been involved as a volunteer at Mission Central where she found she could work to make a difference. Her usual volunteer work at Mission Central involves sorting medical supplies for other ministries, especially Project CURE. She is also chair of the HUB Committee working with 5 other regional HUB Coordinators to oversee the Mission Central HUB Project in the Northeast United States. She is so grateful that God has blessed her with the passion for Mission Central at this stage of her life. She understands it is there that she can be part of the team, including the amazing small staff and many volunteers who are working to connect God's Resources with Human Need.
Mrs. Amey Sgrignoli
President/CEO, Belco Community Credit Union, 449 Eisenhower Boulevard, Harrisburg Pa 17111. Amey was appointed to the President/CEO of Belco Community Credit Union on January 1, 2014. She joined Belco in July of 2004 as the Consumer Loan Manager. Throughout her tenure she has held the positions of AVP of Lending, VP of Lending, and Executive Vice President and Acting President/CEO. Prior to joining Belco, Amey worked within the financial services industry at both a regional savings bank and a commercial bank. Overall, she has 19 years of financial institution experience, and brings a combination of lending, operations, sales and strategic leadership to the CEO position. Amey’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master of Science in Organization Development and Leadership with a concentration in Business, both from Shippensburg University, Shippensburg, Pa. She holds the CUES Certified Chief Executive (CCE) designation from Credit Union Executives Society. Amey has also completed the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) Senior Certified Professional (SCP) coursework. Amey has served on the Executive Leadership Board for the American Diabetes Association in Harrisburg Pennsylvania. She is also a member of the Central Pennsylvania Association for Female Executives and serves as a mentor in the executive mentorship program. Amey is currently on the board of the Pennsylvania Credit Union Association in Harrisburg Pennsylvania and serves on the board of Mission Central in Mechanicsburg Pa. Other community involvement:

Rev. Tom Salsgiver
Tom Salsgiver is an ordained elder in the Susquehanna Conference. He just finished 8 years as the District Superintendent of the Lewisburg District. He is currently appointed as the Director of Connectional Ministries and Director of Administrative Services. While Tom was the Council Director for the former Central PA Conference (2000-2008) he worked with Bishop Irons to find the current building. Tom was a exploratory committee for Mission Central and had served on the Board from the time Mission Central was formed until 2008.
Mr. Jim Foster
I've been a member of the United Methodist Church (UMC) and its predecessor for about 50 years. I've served three UM churches in various capacities, including Chair of Trustees, Chair of Finance and Delegate to Annual Conference. Currently I'm a member and active volunteer at Camp Hill UMC. Since retiring from my career as an attorney in the financial services industry, I've served as a volunteer and Board Member of Computer Ministry and Board Member of New Digs Ministry, both ministries housed at Mission Central. Apart from the Church and related ministries, my passions include hiking and trails. I thru-hiked the 2,185 mile Appalachian Trail (A.T.) in 2007, as well as several other trails. I serve as an officer and director of Keystone Trails Association, and I'm immediate past President of the Cumberland Valley Appalachian Trail Club. I personally maintain a one mile section of the A.T. between Mechanicsburg and Carlisle.
Mrs. Deborah Michalski
It’s a great honor to become a member of the Board of Directors. I became a believer in Mission Central during a tour of the facility. The God Moments that were shared touched my heart. One story in particular moved me. A person came to MC seeking special medical equipment, a chair for bathing. The Mission didn’t have one but later that same day one was donated. That was my first God Moment at Mission Central. I’m the commercial printing sales and marketing representative for GANCOM, a division of Gannett Fleming, Inc. I earned a BBA from Penn State University with a major in Marketing. Over the past 20 years I’ve been active with the West Shore Chamber of Commerce, the Central Pennsylvania Association of Female Executives, and the Gannett Fleming Toastmasters Club.

Mrs. Lisa Bender
Lisa Bender is Susquehanna Conference Executive Secretary for Connectional Ministries. She has served continuously since 2001 as secretary for Mission Central's board. Previously a district and conference leader for United Methodist Women, she brings a passion for mission work cultivated by UMW and Global Ministries. She has been the mission committee chair for several congregations.
