Healthy Steps Diaper Bank In Need of Disposable Diapers for Babies and Toddlers
As a member of the Mission Central Family, our mission is to keep babies clean, dry and healthy.
1 out of 3 families struggle to buy diapers. Although Pennsylvania offers programs such as WIC and Food Stamps (SNAP), diapers cannot be obtained through these or any other government assistance programs. Children born into poor or low income families can spend a day or longer in one diaper. Sometimes disposable diapers are even re-used. This is a heartbreaking problem for parents who are unable to purchase an adequate supply of diapers for their little ones.
Healthy Steps Diaper Bank collects diapers and then, through partnerships with local service agencies, those diapers are distributed to families in need to supplement what they are currently able to purchase. This enables families to properly diaper their children resulting in clean, dry, and healthy children.
You can help us to provide this critical unmet need to our service area, that includes Cumberland, Dauphin and Perry counties by Hosting a Diaper Drive.
We accept all brands of diapers, size Newborn – 6. We are also in need of boys and girls pull-ups, size 4T-5T.
